Weezy Is Not Here For The Drake & Chris Brown Drama

When I first heard about the scuffle between Chris Brown and Drake in NYC, I definitely was shocked. Not shocked that a rapper (even a Canadian one) would get into a club altercation, but shocked that it was between Drizzy and Breezy. I was always under the impression that Christopher had a good relationship with Young Money, so it seemed a little odd that they would have beef.

And wouldn’t you know it, apparently Weezy feels the same way. Lil Wayne is not about to let Wheelchair Jimmy Aubrey f*ck up his collabo coins, and according to TMZ he’s insisting that the beef be squashed immediately.

Sources close to Drake tell TMZ, Drizzy has received several calls from Weezy, Birdman, Mack Maine and more — urging the rapper to extend an olive branch to Brown after last week’s nightclub brawl in NYC.

Sources tell us, Wayne and co. are worried the rift will affect business — since Brown appears on several tracks with Young Money members and, pure and simple, Brown = hits.

We’re told Drake doesn’t want to reach out to Breezy until he knows CB doesn’t actually blame him for last week’s melee — despite what Brown’s lawyer has been saying … that Drake was one of the aggressors.

We’re told Young Money’s on Drake’s side no matter what — but as one source put it, “Making money matters most.”

Welp Drizzy, like your girl Nicki says, “The President has spoken.”

Drake & Chris Brown Get Physical At A NYC Night Club…Is Rihanna To Blame?

Yes, I know I’m late as hell posting this, but this is the first chance I’ve had all day to log on to WordPress, so I apologize for that.

Anyway, by now I’m sure you’ve heard about all of the b*tchassness the altercation that went down between Drake and Chris Brown at Teyana Taylor’s signing party last night in New York City; and as the day has gone on, more details have emerged.

According to Kid Fury‘s uber-reliable sources, the incident was most definitely centered around Rihanna, and it went a little something like this:

Apparently, Chris Brown had his own section in Club W.i.P. with his own bottles. Meek Mill was also in a separate section with Juelz Santana. Keep in mind that the club is very small, so everyone still was very close together.

Drake and his crew arrived later and sat in the section with Meek, Juelz and others (including my source).

At this point, Chris was seen throwing up Blood Gang signs and acting banjee, which must have pissed Drake off. For whatever reason, Aubrey felt provoked and went on a rant about Chris for around an hour — muttering “I don’t like that nigga.”

After fussing about his disgust, Drake amped up his entourage who began throwing things in Chris’ direction, which led to loud words and then niggas tossing around everything in sight.

“They were throwing anything. They weren’t just throwing bottles,” my source said. “They were throwing buckets, tables, ice, chairs, everything. And people were getting hit left and right with shit and that was it.”

Drake was escorted out by his several brolic bodyguards. No word on if he actually hid in a bathroom, but he did leave with a speedy pace. Juelz Santana later cursed Drake out for coming into their section of the club and starting drama.

Lord, I swear Rihanna’s vagina must be lined in gold and she better cum rainbows, because all of this is sooooooo damn extra!

Video footage has now emerged from the incident too, and you can check it out below.

Nicki Minaj Talks Summer Jam With The Breakfast Club

First off, as a morning radio host myself, let me just to tell you how damn much I love “The Breakfast Club!” That’s the type of radio I dream about doing one day, so I have tons of respect for Angela Yee, Charlamagne, and DJ Envy.

So anyway, after this weekend’s Summer Jam fiasco and Nicki Minaj‘s subsequent interview with Funkmaster Flex, Nicki called into Power 105.1′s morning show to further discuss the issue. (And we all know it’s no coincidence that their show is in direct competition with Peter Rosenberg over on Hot 97.)

During the interview Miss Minaj once again stood by her decision to pull out of the show, thanked all of her fellow artists for their support, and guaranteed her fans that a free concert is still in the works. (Of course there was Lil’ Kim shade too, but is anyone surprised by that?)

The only thing that did surprise me about the interview was when Nicki said she had no intentions of performing “Starships” during her set anyway.  It definitely made Rosenberg look a little worse, BUT how many of us actually believe that? I love ya Nick, but not performing your biggest single at the moment just seems silly as hell.

Check out the interview after the jump and post your thoughts. Are you Team Minaj or Team Rosenberg?

Nicki Minaj Breaks Down Summer Jam Issue With Funkmaster Flex

After threatening to “end her career” last night, I was actually kind of shocked that Nicki would even give Funkmaster Flex the time of day, but the First Lady of Young Money called into Hot 97 earlier tonight to address the elephant in the room known as Summer Jam…and let me tell you, she WENT IN!

It’s no secret that I’ve been a Nicki Minaj fan from the jump, but like Peter Rosenberg, I’m not a huge fan of the pop direction she’s been going in lately. But with that said, after listening to this interview none of that even matters to me. Nicki held her own through Flex’s gassed up rants, made clear and valid points, genuinely apologized to her fans, and I respect the hell out of her for all of that.

The three-part interview is a bit lengthy, but it’s worth the listen. It’s definitely clear that Nicki DOES NOT PLAY.

Lil’ Kim Drops By The Breakfast Club; Talks Biggie, Nicki & Azealia Banks

In case you missed it, Lil’ Kim dropped by Power 105.1 in New York Thursday (May 17) morning and chopped it up with the Breakfast Club. Never ones to hold back, Charlamagne, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy came at Kim with the questions everyone’s been dying to know the answers to. Everything from her past relationships, to plastic surgery, and of course the numerous “beefs” with other female emcees; nothing was off limits.

They definitely grilled the sh*t outta Kimmy, but she held her own and gave a damn good interview. I grew up on Kim so I’ll always have love and respect for her, and this interview really just renewed that for me.

Whether you love her or hate her, I’d say it’s absolutely worth your time to check it out.

In Case You Missed It: Lil’ Kim Shades Nicki On “WWHL”

“If you have to make a song called Stupid Hoe, you must be a stupid hoe.”

Welp, that about sums it up.

If you missed it last night, Lil’ Kim appeared with the hilarious Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. As expected, the broadcast was filled with Nicki Minaj shade, including Kim dubbing her “Fire Marshall Bill.” (I really am a fan of both ladies, but that had me cracking up!)

Besides the Nicki beef, Kim also talked about her relationship with Diana Ross, meeting Whitney Houston, and even dating white guys. Hit the jump to check out a few clips.

New Video: Nicki Minaj – “Stupid Hoe”

Before I start this post, I’ll give you this disclaimer: *I am a Nicki fan, and will continue to be a Nicki fan; but SOMETIMES you’ve just gotta tell it like it is* So here goes…

A Hype Williams-directed cut for a track that should never be a single? Looks like we’ve got “Massive Attack” 2.0 on our hands. I’m not sure what Nicki was thinking even considering making a video for “Stupid Hoe,” and I can only hope that Roman Reloaded has A LOT MORE to offer.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m kind of over the Lil’ Kim beef too. Nicki has clearly came out on top, so why continue to push it? (Even 50 Cent eventually left Ja Rule alone right?) And speaking of Kim, I usually roll my eyes at the Stans who constantly make comparisons; but while watching the video, an old David LaChapelle-shot photo of Kim immediately popped in my head.

You can search tumblr for comparisons to a million other artists’ videos (including her own), but I’ll just leave it right here.

Feel free to disagree with me, everyone’s entitled to their own opinions. I just know that ish like this makes me really miss the “old” Nicki *Shrugs*

New Video: Ludacris – “Bada Boom” (Drake & Big Sean Diss)

“See I’m your past, I’m your future and your present. So watch your f*ckin’ mouth when you speak about a legend…”

So clearly Ludacris is not planning on letting his beef with Drake and Big Sean die any time soon. The ATL rapper released a special Thanksgiving drama-starter, a visual (and a quick history lesson on famous hip hop battles) to accompany his diss track “Bada Boom.”

While I’m not completely sold on this feud yet, Luda goes super hard on the track, and I do think this video is absolutely F*CKING DOPE! I guess I just wish he would’ve saved the concept for a more relevant beef instead. I mean let’s be honest, I have a feeling we won’t hear another peep from Drake or Big Sean about the situation. *Shrugs*

Webbie Tells Terrence J “Get Your Ho”

And when he says ho, he means 106 & Park co-host Rocsi.

If you missed it a few weeks back, Webbie was “banned” from the show after apparently making some inappropriate comments to Rocs-zilla while appearing as a “Freestyle Friday” judge. After a commercial break Terrence made the announcement on-air, but didn’t really elaborate on the situation.

Apparently now Webbie wants you to know his *cough* side of the story. In 8 minutes of a country-ass ramble, the “Bad B*tch” rapper proclaims he “IS” BET, will beat Terrence J’s ass and a bunch of other unnecessary nonsense. *SMDH* Hit the jump to witness the f*ckery for yourself.

Footage From The Ray J/Fabolous Fight Emerges + Ray Says He’s “Not Proud” Of That Night

We’re only three days into this beef, and I’m already OVER IT. I’m hoping this will be my last post on the situation, because I can’t imagine any more details worth talking about will emerge.

After the altercation, we were told security made everyone delete their cell phone footage, but TMZ managed to get a hold of a quick clip. You don’t really see Fab in the shot, but you can clearly hear the back and forth before the sh*t popped off.

*SMH* who else couldn’t get Fab calling Ray “Little Red Riding Hood” out of their head while watching this?

In case you care, hear Ray briefly speak on the situation again after the break.
