Mary J. Blige Drops By “Chelsea Lately”

Mary J. Blige was the latest star to drop by the set of Chelsea Lately and chat it up with the hilarious Miss Handler. Looking absolutely fabulous (those boots are TO DIE FOR), Mary dished about her new album, what it’s like to be married to her manager, working with Drake, and of course the mutual love that her and Chelsea share for Tons of Fun Rick Ross. Unlike a lot of Chelsea’s guests, Mary also hit the stage to perform as well, giving the audience a taste of her latest single “Mr. Wrong.”

Drake Talks White Wine Spritzers & Nicki Minaj On “Chelsea Lately”

Chelsea Handler has done it again. I swear this woman never fails to CRACK ME UP. Young Money MC Drake dropped by her late night talk show hot on the heels of dropping his latest album Take Care, and of course typical Chelsea Lately f*ckery ensued.

Right from the jump Chelsea questioned his sexuality due to his love for white wine spritzers, grilled him about being Jewish and asked about the “penetration” situation between him and Nicki Minaj. Drizzy took it all like a champ though; you can’t deny he’s charismatic as hell.

Beyonce Premieres “Live At Roseland” DVD & Chats With The Press

Over the weekend, Beyonce was in New York City and held a special screening of her upcoming DVD, Live at Roseland: Elements of 4. Before debuting the 26-song special, she sat down for an exclusive Q&A session with the Associated Press. Bey kept it super candid, talking about performing while pregnant, worrying that the fans at Roseland would notice her bump and even joked about the need for her Stans to “tone it down.”

Live at Roseland drops at Walmart tomorrow (November 21) and the deluxe version hits stores everywhere on November 29.

Elle Varner Goes Unplugged On Power 96.5

I don’t care who you are or what type of music you love, you have to recognize real, raw talent when you see it. And it’s safe to say that newcomer Elle Varner definitely has that “it” factor. The “Only Wanna Give It To You” singer stopped by the Power 96.5 studios in Lansing, Michigan and gave an impromptu, acoustic performance of her super catchy single. No auto-tune, back up track or any other gimmicks; just a beatboxer, acoustic guitar and Elle singing her ass off.

If you weren’t an Elle fan before, I have a feeling you will be after watching this.

T.I. Sits Down With “The View”

Q&A With Elle Varner

If you’re not yet familiar with the name Elle Varner, you probably will be soon. The 22-year-old just dropped the video for her debut single “Only Wanna Give It To You,” which just happens to feature the MC with #1 album in the country, J. Cole. (Talk about good timing right?)

I was able to get an exclusive, quick Q&A with the singer, and she opened up about the video’s concept, her upcoming album and of course, I had to ask about her shoes!

Binky: I absolutely love the “Only Wanna Give It To You” video, the whole 90s feel is super dope! Were you involved with developing the video’s concept?

Elle: Yes very! I was so lucky to get everything I wanted in the video and much more. The directors Orson Whales are extremely talented and wonderful to work with.

Binky:  You do a little shoe shopping in the clip (a girl after my own heart), so I’ve gotta ask about your personal shoe game. Do you have a favorite designer and/or style?

Elle: I really love Jeffrey Campbell’s shoes, especially the “Lita” because they give you height but the chunky heel is so comfortable!

T.I.’s First Post-Prison Interview

Now a free man, T.I. granted his first post-release interview to V-103′s Ryan Cameron show in Atlanta. During the lengthy discussion, TIP opened up about being a family man, not looking backwards, embracing social media, jumping on a track with Jay and Kanye, his upcoming reality show “documentary series” and of course he talked plenty about his music too.

Watching this interview just made me smile. The man is so damn charismatic, and you can just tell he keeps it real. He’s slick with the one-liners and punchlines too; I was rolling when he busted out the Dave Chappelle, “FIF!”

Amber Rose Pops Off On Hot 97

Amber Rose was in New York yesterday, and dropped by the Hot 97 Morning Show to chop it up with Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and K. Foxx. Amb held nothing back as she discussed the Wiz/Kanye situation, her beef with Funkmaster Flex and who would win in an “ass off” between her and Kim Kardashian.

On a hypothetical Wiz/Kanye altercation:

I think he would beat the crap out of Kanye…and I’d kick ‘em while he’s down. I’d be right there with him.

On her beef with Funk Flex:

I hate Funkmaster Flex, he’s an asshole man [...] I mean he’s just ignorant in every single way possible. He’s just an ignorant person. Like everything that he says is just rude and ignorant. When people come in to, you know, come to talk to him, he kisses everybody’s ass. Then when he leaves, he talks about everybody. I just think he’s really whack for that. When you come in the studio, be real.

On an “ass off” with Kim Kardashian:

Kim is like 5-foot-nothing, I’m 5’9″. I got way more booty than Kim.

J. Cole Hits Up “106 & Park”

To celebrate the release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story, J.Cole stopped by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday. As soon as he stepped on the set, the crowd showed him nothing but love.

After all of his mixtape buzz and other features, This LP was definitely a long time coming. Rocsi even addressed that specifically, saying:

I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to finally say it, but the album is finally in stores today. It’s been a long journey…

Rocsi and co-host Terrence then took the North Carolina rapper on a bit of a trip down memory lane, discussing the “rise of J.Cole.” From his debut feature on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 to his first appearance on 106 & Park, it was nice to hear Cole recap these huge milestones in his budding career.

Usher Stops By “Chelsea Lately”

In case you missed it, last night Usher made a stop by Chelsea Lately; and of course, in typical Chelsea-fashion, the interview took a bit of a dirty turn. I don’t know how the hell she does it, but Chelsea always manages to “take it there” with her guests, and she cracks me up!

Her and Ursh discussed the singer’s latest tour, fatherhood and their mutual “love and passion” for Belvedere Red (the vodka which donates 50% of its profits to AIDS/HIV prevention in Africa). But it was when Chelsea brought up his interest in hot tubs that things got ridiculous. The smooth talking Mr. Raymond invited Chelsea to join him backstage to “play” in the said tub and more than once mentioned how “big” he was.

Before Chelsea wrapped up the interview she thanked Usher for coming on the show, to which he responded:

I didn’t quite “cum” on the show.
