New Ish: Lloyd ft. 2 Chainz – “Hello”

Lloyd is just one of those artists I have a thing for. Whether you agree or not, I honestly can’t think of a track he’s on that I don’t like. You mix that with 2 Chainz (who’s on everyone and their mama’s tracks right now), and this post is pretty much a no-brainer.

The two have come together for a new cut called “Hello,” and you can find it on The Syndicate & DJ 5 Venom’s latest mixtape Syndicate RNB 12.

I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it!

New Ish: Lil’ Kim – “Countin’ Money”

Lil’ Kim continues plotting her comeback track-by-track, and this one’s called “Countin’ Money.” Kimmy Blanco stays true to her hip hop roots, spitting bars like:

“You know Kim the realest bitch up in the industry. Matter fact I’m the realest bitch up in the streets”

The Queen Bee’s new album isn’t set to drop until later this year, but you can find this cut on the I.R.S. South mixtape Tax Season. Take a listen below and make sure to post your thoughts.

Mixtape: Elle Varner – “Conversational Lush”

If you’re still sleeping on Elle Varner, it’s time to wake the f*ck up! Not only is she gorgeous, but hands down this girl is one of the most talented new artists in the game; and this mixtape just solidifies that. Conversational Lush doesn’t have a weak track on it, so I suggest you press play and vibe.

Mixtape: Chris Brown – “Boy In Detention”

Earlier today, Breezy officially dropped his latest mixtape Boy in Detention. Cameos on the cuts include Kevin McCall, Tyga, Justin Bieber and of course Se7en from RichGirl. (Speaking of Se7en, I’m pretty sure ol’ girl should just become a permanent Chris Brown backup singer because it seems like she’s on all of his damn tracks lately.)

Boy in Detention is the precursor to Chris’ upcoming studio album Fortune, which has yet to be given an official release date. We get the rapping Christopher on a good majority of the songs, so it may not be everyone’s up of tea. Take a listen below and judge for yourself.

New Ish: Chris Brown ft. Kevin McCall – “Strip”

Produced by Tha Bizness, “Strip” is the first single from Chris Brown’s upcoming mixtape Boy in Detention. He once again teams up with Kevin McCall, and the result is pretty catchy.

It’s definitely not on the level of “Deuces” or “No Bullsh*t,” but still a decent effort by Breezy. Boy in Detention is officially set to drop August 5.

New Ish: Drake – “Headlines”

Drizzy is back at it, dropping a new single called “Headlines.” The track is set to be the lead off single from Drake’s upcoming, sophomore effort Take Care. There’s really nothing surprising about the song; it has that signature Drake sound, and will most definitely be stuck in your head for a minute.

Take Care is tentatively set drop October 24th, and I’m sure we’ll be getting another taste (or two) of the album before it’s released.

Chris Brown’s Mixtape Cover

Chris Brown took to Twitter today to inform the masses of his latest mixtape. Boy in Detention will drop August 5, with his official album Fortune (which Chris claims is “better than F.A.M.E.”) coming soon after. What do y’all think of the cover?
