Supertrailer: “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”

VH1 continues to dominate our airwaves with reality messiness, and the latest addition to their roster is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

After the success of the original series (shot in New York), the producers have decided to take the same formula down to “The A.” The show includes a handful of familiar names (Lil Scrappy, Rasheeda, K. Michelle), as well as a few chicks who are clearly just trying to get some type of a come-up from the series. (And who can blame them? I mean how many of us knew who Chrissy or Emily were just a few years ago?)

The show premieres Monday, June 18, and from the looks of it, there will be no shortage of drama. As much as I’d like to say that I won’t tune in, I know I’ll end up being hooked after the first episode. If anything, I’ll just continue to tune in to see Scrappy’s fine ass and those pearly white veneers ;)

Get your first taste of the show after the jump, and check out the official “supertrailer.”

Rihanna Rocks “American Idol” Finale

I’m not usually a huge American Idol fan, but I tuned in to tonight’s finale simply for all of the guest performances. Surprisingly enough, one of my favorites of the night came from Rihanna.

The Bajan beauty took the stage to perform her latest single “Where Have You Been,” and I was lovin’ it! I know some of y’all will disagree with me, but I honestly think this was one of the best performances I’ve seen from Rihanna PERIOD. Everyone knows she’s not a power house vocalist, but that b*tch danced her ass off, sang live (a rarity nowadays), and actually sounded pretty damn good. Of course, as usual, she looked amazing doing it too.

Sidenote: Did anyone else immediately think of the Illuminati rumors because of that damn triangle?

Hit the jump to check it out, and post your thoughts!

Trailer: Season 2 Of VH1′s “Single Ladies”

I don’t know what keeps drawing me to this show, because the acting is horrendous but I’m definitely hooked. VH1′s hit, scripted series Single Ladies is coming back for a second season, and I can already hear women across the country setting their DVRs.

If you don’t know, one of the original stars, Stacey Dash (Val), has left the show; so it will be interesting to see how they address the changes. Original cast members LisaRaye (Keisha) and Charity Shea (April) return, along with newcomer Denise Vasi (Racquel). The new season will be filled with plenty of big name guest stars too, and of course no shortage of drama.

You can catch the premiere Memorial Day (Monday, May 28), but until then check out the “super trailer” after the break.

Can “The Game” Go On Without Derwin & Melanie?

I’m not sure what the hell BET is thinking with this one…

According to Hip Hollywood, the two main stars of its hit series The Game will not be returning next season.

According to a well placed source, HipHollywood.com has learned exclusively that Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall will NOT return to BET’s highest rated show, The Game.

It will be interesting to see how the show moves forward from here because their characters Derwin and Melanie are central to The Game’s plot. Our source also added that both are very busy right now, Hall is working on another project, while Mowery is still filming her Style network reality show.

The hope is that the two actors will have a chance to come back and end their storyline, but for now all we know is that they won’t be back for season 6.

To solidify this information, Tia took to Twitter to make the official announcement.

Rihanna Does SNL

I don’t watch Saturday Night Live on the regular, but I actually happened to catch both of Rihanna‘s performances last night. RiRi took the stage twice; performing a medley of “Birthday Cake” and “Talk That Talk,” and her latest cut “Where Have You Been” for her second performance.

It’s no secret that Rihanna isn’t a superstar vocalist, and that was once again the case last night. It looked like she was having a blast though, and of course she looked AMAZING!

Sidenote: Am I the only one that thought for a split second that she might bring out Breezy for “Birthday Cake?”

In Case You Missed It: Brandy’s “Behind The Music”

Tonight’s episode of Behind the Music focused on the trials and tribulations of R&B singer Brandy, and she definitely didn’t hold anything back. She talked about all of the ups and downs throughout her career including sensitive subjects like her “fake” marriage, the car crash that changed her life, and the death of her dear friend, Whitney Houston. Of course there were lots of positive moments as well, like the birth of her daughter, release of her own Barbie doll, and the new love in her life. She’s really had quite the career, and VH1 did a great job trying to squeeze it all into an hour with commercials.

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, it’s definitely worth your time. I forgot how much I really loved Miss Norwood. *Digs out Never Say Never CD*

In Case You Missed It: Lil’ Kim Shades Nicki On “WWHL”

“If you have to make a song called Stupid Hoe, you must be a stupid hoe.”

Welp, that about sums it up.

If you missed it last night, Lil’ Kim appeared with the hilarious Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. As expected, the broadcast was filled with Nicki Minaj shade, including Kim dubbing her “Fire Marshall Bill.” (I really am a fan of both ladies, but that had me cracking up!)

Besides the Nicki beef, Kim also talked about her relationship with Diana Ross, meeting Whitney Houston, and even dating white guys. Hit the jump to check out a few clips.

Video: “Basketball Wives” Season 4 Promo

The new season of Basketball Wives is just around the corner, and VH1 is doing the ABSOLUTE MOST to promote it. Their latest promo for Shaunie’s reality mess looks like a trailer for a high budget, porno action flick that’s guaranteed to flop. *Shrugs* You can bet your ass I’ll still be watching though.

Hit the jump to check out the extra dramatic preview.

Nicki Minaj Performs On Dick Clark’s NYE Special

If you’re anything like me, you were drunk as sh*t weren’t near a TV on New Year’s Eve. And if that’s the case you missed Nicki Minaj taking the stage for Dick Clark’s annual New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special. Nicki performed her smash hit “Super Bass,” her latest collab with David Guetta, “Turn Me On,” plus her new single “Roman in Moscow.”

Mary J. Blige Drops By “Chelsea Lately”

Mary J. Blige was the latest star to drop by the set of Chelsea Lately and chat it up with the hilarious Miss Handler. Looking absolutely fabulous (those boots are TO DIE FOR), Mary dished about her new album, what it’s like to be married to her manager, working with Drake, and of course the mutual love that her and Chelsea share for Tons of Fun Rick Ross. Unlike a lot of Chelsea’s guests, Mary also hit the stage to perform as well, giving the audience a taste of her latest single “Mr. Wrong.”

If you haven’t yet, make sure you check out Mary’s tenth studio album, My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act I).
