If you have been living under a rock haven’t heard yet, everyone’s favorite power couple have officially become parents. Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, into the world this past Saturday (January 7).
And as if the birth wasn’t big enough already, Jigga has taken it to a whole new level by releasing a track which features the first cries of lil’ B.I.C. You don’t have to have kids to feel “Glory,” and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me a bit emotional. As he spits his bars, Hov mentions a previous miscarriage the couple experienced, talks about when baby Blue was conceived, and simply expresses the love he has for both his wife and child.
*Sigh* Don’t we all wish we could have that Jay-Z/Beyonce kind of love one day? Big congrats to the proud parents!
