Throwback Thursday: Drake ft. Trey Songz – “Replacement Girl”

I’m sorry but I just couldn’t help myself…this week’s throwback comes from none other than Drizzy Drake.

I remember the first time I was introduced to Drake the emcee (at the time I only knew him as Aubrey the actor). His “Replacement Girl” video (featuring Trey Songz) actually debuted after an episode of Degrassi, and I had no idea that “Wheelchair Jimmy” could flow.

With that said, let’s throw it back to those days. Check out innocent, child-actor Aubrey when he was just trying to be fly in a peacoat and not getting buck in the club over some coochie.

Drake & Chris Brown Get Physical At A NYC Night Club…Is Rihanna To Blame?

Yes, I know I’m late as hell posting this, but this is the first chance I’ve had all day to log on to WordPress, so I apologize for that.

Anyway, by now I’m sure you’ve heard about all of the b*tchassness the altercation that went down between Drake and Chris Brown at Teyana Taylor’s signing party last night in New York City; and as the day has gone on, more details have emerged.

According to Kid Fury‘s uber-reliable sources, the incident was most definitely centered around Rihanna, and it went a little something like this:

Apparently, Chris Brown had his own section in Club W.i.P. with his own bottles. Meek Mill was also in a separate section with Juelz Santana. Keep in mind that the club is very small, so everyone still was very close together.

Drake and his crew arrived later and sat in the section with Meek, Juelz and others (including my source).

At this point, Chris was seen throwing up Blood Gang signs and acting banjee, which must have pissed Drake off. For whatever reason, Aubrey felt provoked and went on a rant about Chris for around an hour — muttering “I don’t like that nigga.”

After fussing about his disgust, Drake amped up his entourage who began throwing things in Chris’ direction, which led to loud words and then niggas tossing around everything in sight.

“They were throwing anything. They weren’t just throwing bottles,” my source said. “They were throwing buckets, tables, ice, chairs, everything. And people were getting hit left and right with shit and that was it.”

Drake was escorted out by his several brolic bodyguards. No word on if he actually hid in a bathroom, but he did leave with a speedy pace. Juelz Santana later cursed Drake out for coming into their section of the club and starting drama.

Lord, I swear Rihanna’s vagina must be lined in gold and she better cum rainbows, because all of this is sooooooo damn extra!

Video footage has now emerged from the incident too, and you can check it out below.

Rihanna Nips Out In NYC

FFN_IMAGE_9177168|FFN_SET_9176667

Call me old-fashioned, but when did visible nipples become the hot new trend?

Rihanna was spotted this afternoon strolling through the streets of NYC in a see-through crop top, that left very little to the imagination. One thing’s for sure, this girl definitely stays true to her IDGAF attitude!

Hit the jump to check out the possibly-NSFW pics.

New Ish: Trey Songz ft. T.I. – “2 Reasons”

If you happen to catch Trey Songz and T.I. at the club, chances are that they’re only there for “the b*tches and the drinks.”

Tremaine has enlisted the help of TIP for his latest single “2 Reasons,” and it’s definitely a cut that was made for the club. It seems like Trey’s albums always have a drinking anthem (“Say Aah,” “Bottoms Up,” etc.), and “2 Reasons” fills that void for his upcoming LP, Chapter V.

At first listen I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but I have a feeling it’s one of those tracks that will grow on me.

New Video: Chris Brown – “Don’t Wake Me Up”

Gone are the days when an artist just focuses on one single at a time…especially if your name is Chris Brown.

In support of his upcoming Fortune album, Chris has been dropping tracks and videos like it’s going out of style. The latest in the barrage of Breezy is the visual for “Don’t Wake Me Up.” Directed by Colin Tilley, the clip follows Chris as he continuously dreams of a mystery a girl.

The video was actually executed nicely; the song however, is not my cup of tea. Check it out below.

Ne-Yo’s A Proud Daddy In The Latest Issue Of People

Although I sometimes question the validity of his relationship with baby mama Monyetta Shaw, there’s no doubt in my mind that Ne-Yo is a damn good father.

The R&B crooner and song-writer extraordinaire is featured in People’s Father’s Day issue, and it’s clear he is one proud papa. Posing with his 18-month-old daughter, Madilyn Grace, and 8-month-old son, Mason Evan, Ne-Yo gushes in the issue about the unique personalities of his children.

I think Ne-Yo’s smile in the photo really says it all. Those kids are definitely the loves of his life!

Supertrailer: “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”

VH1 continues to dominate our airwaves with reality messiness, and the latest addition to their roster is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

After the success of the original series (shot in New York), the producers have decided to take the same formula down to “The A.” The show includes a handful of familiar names (Lil Scrappy, Rasheeda, K. Michelle), as well as a few chicks who are clearly just trying to get some type of a come-up from the series. (And who can blame them? I mean how many of us knew who Chrissy or Emily were just a few years ago?)

The show premieres Monday, June 18, and from the looks of it, there will be no shortage of drama. As much as I’d like to say that I won’t tune in, I know I’ll end up being hooked after the first episode. If anything, I’ll just continue to tune in to see Scrappy’s fine ass and those pearly white veneers ;)

Get your first taste of the show after the jump, and check out the official “supertrailer.”

New Ish: Chantel ft. The Game – “Sending My Love (Remix)”

Remember the name Chantel, because I have a feeling you’ll be hearing a lot more of her in the near future. The R&B newcomer managed to snag The Game for her “Sending My Love (Remix),” and the result is a smooth track you can definitely vibe to.

Take a listen below, and make sure to post your thoughts. Do you think Chantel has what it takes to make it?

Throwback Thursday: Trina ft. Tweet – “No Panties”

Thanks to my Twitter timeline, earlier today I was reminded of the greatness that is Trina‘s Diamond Princess album. Call me ratchet if you’d like, but I promise you that CD was the soundtrack for some of my best high school days.

This week’s throwback goes back to 2002, when the unlikely duo of Trina and Tweet teamed up for the classic (well at least in my mind) “No Panties.”

“Ain’t no way that you gon’ get up in this for free…”
