New Ish: B.o.B. ft. Lil Wayne – “Strange Clouds”

Bobby Ray and Dwayne Carter have teamed for a cut that’s sure to be a smoker’s anthem. “Strange Clouds” will be the title track on B.o.B.’s upcoming, sophomore effort. According to the ATL rapper, his latest LP will be dropping soon:

Hopefully fans will be able to hear the new album very soon. I’m as impatient for you to hear it as you are. It’s a more mature sound but nothing too experimental. It’s a happy medium between the sound of ”B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray” and the mixtapes, so everyone should be able to enjoy it. I’d say I’m 90 percent done with it right now. J. Cole Hits Up “106 & Park”

To celebrate the release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story, J.Cole stopped by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday. As soon as he stepped on the set, the crowd showed him nothing but love.

After all of his mixtape buzz and other features, This LP was definitely a long time coming. Rocsi even addressed that specifically, saying:

I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to finally say it, but the album is finally in stores today. It’s been a long journey…

Rocsi and co-host Terrence then took the North Carolina rapper on a bit of a trip down memory lane, discussing the “rise of J.Cole.” From his debut feature on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 to his first appearance on 106 & Park, it was nice to hear Cole recap these huge milestones in his budding career.

The Stars Shine In Vegas @ The iHeartRadio Music Festival

iheartradio-nicki-minaj

This post should’ve been up a long time ago, but due to my site’s technical issues, I’m late as hell. This past weekend the iHeartRadio Music Festival went down in Las Vegas, and to call this thing HUGE would be an understatement. Music’s heavy hitters were out in full effect, performing at the event billed as “the biggest live music event in radio history.” It’s not too often names like Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Usher and Jay-Z grace the same stage, especially when it’s not at an award show. Big ups to Clear Channel and iHeartRadio for managing to pull this whole thing off, and pretty flawlessly at that.

I’ve heard from a few people that actually went to the show, and everyone’s was review was nothing less than amazing. (I’m still bitter as hell I didn’t win one of the Clear Channel employee trips to take my ass down there, but oh well.) Check out more pictures from the two-day event below.

Technical Difficulties

First off, let me apologize for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been dealing with server issues on the site, and for some reason I’m not able to gain any access from my house. I’m posting this update while I can, because for whatever reason, I can post from work (*sigh* too bad I actually have to “work” while I’m here).

Anyway, I’ve heard the problem should be fixed by midnight tonight at the latest, so please sit tight. Your regularly scheduled “programming” will return shortly!

Album Art: Drake – “Take Care”

Drizzy Drake has released the album cover for his upcoming, sophomore effort, Take Care. Now I’m no expert with all things Illuminati, but I know the conspiracy theorists are gonna have a ball with this one.

Take Care hits stores October 24.

Chris Brown Gives A Fan Some Knee Lovin’ In Detroit

This weekend, Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. Tour pulled into Detroit, and Breezy pulled another fan on stage. During his signature “Take You Down” lap dance, Chris got up close and personal with one lucky concertgoer, going in for a kiss and even licking her knee.

I know that girl was thinking, “Thank God I shaved my legs today!”

The F.A.M.E. Tour rolls into Chicago Friday night, so no doubt more lap dance vids to come.
