Footage From The Ray J/Fabolous Fight Emerges + Ray Says He’s “Not Proud” Of That Night

We’re only three days into this beef, and I’m already OVER IT. I’m hoping this will be my last post on the situation, because I can’t imagine any more details worth talking about will emerge.

After the altercation, we were told security made everyone delete their cell phone footage, but TMZ managed to get a hold of a quick clip. You don’t really see Fab in the shot, but you can clearly hear the back and forth before the sh*t popped off.

*SMH* who else couldn’t get Fab calling Ray “Little Red Riding Hood” out of their head while watching this?

In case you care, hear Ray briefly speak on the situation again after the break.

New Ish: J. Cole ft. Missy Elliott – “Nobody’s Perfect”

With his debut album dropping next Tuesday (September 27), leaks just keep coming from Jermaine. “Nobody’s Perfect” features Missy Elliott, and is another cut produced by J. Cole himself. It’s nice to see hear Missy on a track again, and I’m really feeling her more laid-back flow on this one.

Will you be picking up Cole World: The Sideline Story next week?

Kreayshawn Says The Game Is A “Weak Ass Blood”

It’s no secret that I don’t consider myself a Kreayshawn fan, so I’ll keep this short. The Bay area emcee (and I use that term loosely) landed the alternate cover of the October/November issue of Complex. For having one single and a mediocre buzz, Kreay really has no problem running her mouth about more established artists.

She’s been accused of dissing Nicki Minaj in “Gucci Gucci,” blatantly called Rick Ross fake and after his “Uncle Otis” diss, she’s fired back at The Game. Here’s a taste of some of Kreay’s verbal diarrhea featured in the issue:

Kreayshawn, born Natassia Zolot, would like to deal with Game more directly. “I wanna slap a grown-ass man in the face,” she says, defiantly. She then lightens the mood, joking about calling 50 Cent, but gets aggravated when her manager, Chioke “Stretch” McCoy, advises her not to respond.

She counters with another plan of action. “I’m going to say, ‘Game’s a weak ass Blood, he ain’t about to do shit.’” That also doesn’t go over well with Stretch, a charismatic, hulking black guy whose pedigree includes Mac Dre and Mistah F.A.B. She pushes back. “Am I just supposed to get dissed every day and be a weak ass little white bitch? Fuck that shit. I’m tired of people disrespecting me.”

I wish there was a way to put my over-exaggerated side-eye into words; but since there’s not, I’ll just leave the rest of my comments to myself. I’m sure plenty of us are on the same page about this girl though -_-

If you’re interested you can cop the official issue October 4. Until then, read more of Kreayshawn’s B.S. over at Complex.

New Video: Tyrese – “Stay”

Baby Boy fans rejoice, Yvette and Jody are back! Tyrese enlisted former co-star Taraji P. Henson to help him out with the video for his latest single “Stay,” and the fictional couple are absolutely adorable. I can pretty much guarantee that fans of the movie (who may not even like Tyrese’s music) are even checking this out just to see the two reunite. Smart move Mr. Gibson!

It’s definitely nice to see Tyrese back in the music scene, and I’m excited to see what else he has in store for us. His new album Open Invitation is set to drop November 1.

Fabolous Chimes In About The Ray J Beef

In case you missed it, Fabolous hit up DJ Clue on Power 105.1 earlier tonight to speak his piece on this whole Ray J situation. (Remember, according to Ray, “Only DJ Clue can squash this.”)  Unlike Ray J’s Tupac-style rant, Fab’s 15 minute interview was calm, collected and pretty damn funny. In typical Fabolous style, he delivered some hilarious one-liners while recapping his side of the situation.

Just chill out Little Red Riding Hood…

Fab’s recount is definitely a LOT different than Ray J’s version, including accusing Brandy’s brother of “being on that Whitney.” Listen to his interview with the peacemaker, Clue “Sabian,” plus peep footage of Ray being detained after the scuffle below.

Kid Cudi Gets “Complex”

kid-cudi-complex

Kid Cudi has had some serious ups and downs in the past  few years, and now he sits down with Complex to put the pieces together. The rapper covers the October/November issue (with, might I add, one of the dopest covers I’ve seen in a minute) and discusses his newly-found sobriety, his love life, working with Kanye West and everything in between.

On putting down the weed and curbing his party habits:

I can still sip my whiskey but I control my intake of liquor. I just don’t like the way it makes me feel [to be out-of-control drunk]. The reason it was so easy for me to quit smoking weed was because I stopped liking the way it made me feel. I didn’t like being one foot in, one foot out of reality. Especially in this business where you’ve got to watch the snakes in the grass. I could be blitzed out of my skull and somebody might be plotting to snuff me in the club. I really like being more alert.

I go out every once in a while. Not as much as I used to. Particularly in L.A., it’s tough because of the paparazzi. Even though it’s not going to happen, they’re waiting to see me fucking stumble out of a club again.

On his current relationship status:

Yeah, we’re solid. I’m just trying to figure out love. I never was really good at it, but when you have someone who loves you so much and can take your good and your bad, and work with you and help you grow—that’s priceless. To have a ride-or-die woman, for somebody that’s in the position I’m in, that’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

Ray J Has An Indoor & Outdoor Pool (Speaks On Altercation With Fab)

In case you missed it this morning, Ray J called into Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club to speak on the “alleged” Vegas incident between him and Fabolous. After a damn near 10-minute rambling session, all I took from it was that Ray J has more than one Rolls Royce, both an indoor AND outdoor pool, he isn’t afraid to have Fab raped in the streets and for whatever reason, only DJ Clue can squash this beef. All in all, just a hot ass mess!

Rumors were swirling that Fab would be calling Angie Martinez on Hot 97 this afternoon to respond, but Ang isn’t even on air today. My guess is that his exclusive will go to his homie Clue (who works for Power 105.1); but until then, I suggest your grab some popcorn to prepare for the inevitable f*ckery that is to come.

Take a listen to Ray J’s rant below.

Did Fabolous & Ray J Throw Down In Vegas?

The main event may have gone down Saturday night, but according to the Twitterverse, Fabolous may have gone a round or two with Ray J last night. As the tweets have it, it all went down backstage at Fab’s concert at the Palms. The gossip is that Ray threw the first punch, but Fab delivered his own Mayweather beat down on Brandy’s brother.

There’s been no official confirmation of the altercation, but usually the tweets don’t lie. Allegedly, this may have all popped off because of some harmless Twitter jokes. Fabolous and Kevin Hart clowned Ray J in their timelines while watching HBO’s pre-fight special 24/7 (and clearly Ray doesn’t know how to take a joke.) Check out the tweets that sparked the beef after the jump.

New Ish: Monica – “Until It’s Gone”

Monica is giving fans another taste of her upcoming New Life album, announcing “Until It’s Gone” as her next single. Mo never fails at killin’ a ballad, and this track is no exception.

New Life is set to drop November 29.

New Video: N.O.R.E. ft. Pharrell & Lil Wayne – “Finito”

All I can say, is I can’t stop listening to this damn song! N.O.R.E. is back and just dropped the video for his infectious, Neptunes-produced track “Finito.” It’s definitely got that signature Noreaga style, and I wanna hear this played in the club ASAP!

The Spliff TV-directed visual features two of my absolute favorites, Weezy F. Baby and Pharrell, so that just adds to my attraction to the cut. “Finito” will be featured on N.O.R.E.’s upcoming S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. album.
